So he's dead. I could never stand the way he spoke, his strange exagerated accent and his eyes, always bulging out.

But he was one of the good guys.

He had passion.

Yeah.  Steve made "death defying" into an entertainment, BUT he also seemed to be doing his thing to help animals.  It's tragic that his job finally got too dangerous. 

Shoot, and I thought Stingrays were basically safe.  Too bad he wasn't wearing his metal chest-protecting plate.  (I don't know if he even HAS a metal chest-protecting plate.  But it sure would have helped in this situation.)
