House is going to be on
I can't wait to NOT watch it.
So, what happened at your job?

It's a reality TV show for Mexican construction workers.
no one could have said that!

Brilliant doctor hides his caring and sensitive nature behind a wall of cynicism and hostility. Think muppet as a doctor.
Yo, Clay, your wife's been complaining about your pogo stick. Again. I told her it was hopeless but she insisted. I gave her some blue pills she's been adding to your after-work daiquiris.
It's not ethical but who cares; no one can fire me, I'm God.

Yeah, the spring-loaded action on that thing is hell on her knees.
I watched a bunch of House re-runs on TNT or whatever last month.
I've learned to love him. Especially when he gives placebo jellybeans to patients and pretends they are real.
I think the appeal of House is what we all used to enjoy about IT jobs; nobody understood what we did so they let us be ourselves, for better or worse. I think we all miss that.
House sucks. Pretentious jackass.

He's *supposed* to be a pretentious jackass.

And you're not supposed to dislike pretentious jackasses because...?

I missed it. It comes on at 7, I guess. I'll never watch it then.
Once you realise he's partially based on Sherlock Holmes the puns become quite irritating.

I've seen 3 episodes now. I like it but basically it's the same thing over and over.
I wonder how long they can keep it interesting.
Sharkfish, you should be able to pick it up on a later rebroadcast, or TNT has been showing them. Usually they're only a week behind the network on their other shows.
This week's was pretty good. I have to wonder if they're always going to try to run two cases now or if that's just to usher in the new season. I hope they don't just change the formula to A and B cases - mixing it up with clinic hours and interpersonal problems gives them room to keep it interesting (though I wasn't sorry to see the lawyer go - that was getting too dramatic)
If House is Sherlock and Wilson is Watson, who does the chorus of his three apprentices represent? :) (and will we see the scandal in bohemia this season?)
Looks like House's cane is gone for good - Hugh Laurie was complaining of back problems from limping all the time.
