has Tool/Aenima, White tripes, Nirvana Greatest hits, and the last two lectures from my math course.
And Minnie Riperton and Joss Stone.
I'm soooooo cooler than you.
My music stickhas Tool/Aenima, White tripes, Nirvana Greatest hits, and the last two lectures from my math course.
And Minnie Riperton and Joss Stone. I'm soooooo cooler than you. Mine has Big Momma Thornton, Billie Holiday, Bloc Party, Alicia Keys, Hawkwind, the Indigo Girls, Al Green, some MCAT study material, the first Elric book (which I just finished listening to a day or so ago), and Ender's Shadow.
The latest firmware upgrade made it impossible for me to use my ipod with linux.
Media convergence is next ... your dildo is your music stick.
(Why carry both?) LOL. "My dildo is my music stick."
Oh man. Play Beach Boys "Good Vibrations" for good measure. "What math course?"
I took the easy one. History of Mathematics. So far, truth tables and sets. Here's the book and we are doing every chapter: http://vig.prenhall.com/catalog/academic/product/0,1144,0131848682-TOC,00.html I'm enjoying it. I should have taken Calc III, but I wimped out. If I do okay in this one, that's next. History of Math is required for math major.
I'm rockin to some Frantic Frank an'da Kraftsmen, a bit of Bonobo with other Ninja Tunes stuff and some Nina Simone.
I want to get some Nina Simone. I keep looking for some at the used CD shop, but they never have it. I may have to break down and buy new (fuck you, RIAA).
Right now I've got The Cure, Alpha Blondy, Chroma Key, Def Leppard, Neil Young, The Orb and Paul Oakenfold. Nina Simone is great, I have some of her stuff on my MP3 player too. She does a great verson of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood."
I heard "the last two lectures from my math course" was going to release an awesome new single but the frontman wrote lyics inside the margins of a record album sleeve, and misplaced it somewhere.
i bought a 2nd hand 40G ipod from a musician buddy a year back, loaded with good jazz, rock, rap, classical, r'n'b ... I finally got it uploaded to a hard disc, got the files sorted out ...
that's about 500 albums of stuff. I'm STILL finding stuff in there. I like most of the dude's taste ... On my music stick: My wife. At least if things are going right.
I have yet to buy one of those cool little MP3 players. I want one, but can't bring myself to cough that kind of cash. I'd rather put that money into something else. I can't say that I'm the biggest Nina Simone fan, but I've only heard her on compilations. Sarah Vaughn, on the other hand, can captivate my little jazz loving brain most anytime. The one I got was $60. Not the biggest, but I certainly enjoy it.
