Por isso é que os psicólogos fazem sentido.
What language is this?
Por isso é que os psicólogos fazem sentido.
Babelfish: portoguese -> english
"Therefore it is that the psychologists make sensible."

translate.google.com translates it as follows:
Therefore it is that the psychologists make sensible.
Por isso é que os psicólogos fazem sentido."
Yep, Portuguese. Translated:
That's why the psychologists make sense."
Though I don't have the context of it to translate it better. But literally, that's it.
Someone posted this on this website: http://proelio-procusi.blogspot.com/2006/08/confiana.html
What does all that mean? Is that you, FB?
No, I'm not Funny Bunny. :-)
I'm Joao! A Brazilian dude. hehe.

LOL, I'm going to translate that post for you. Wait a minute.

does it mean "pussypussypussyohmigodlookattherackonthatcheckoutthatthongpussypussypussy"
After realizing that Colm has been passing information to Sathyaish about everything that I tell him about, I realized one thing: in this world it's not possible to trust in anyone with whom we have a dependable relationship. sooner or later these folks will turn back against us and use what we tell them to hurt us.
The women, the ones with whom we want to build our lives, turn back against us when they notice anything that can benefit them, in special in case there's money involved.
That's why the psychologists make sense. It's the isolated people from our personal lives in whom we trust our dreams, desires and nightmares, without fear because they don't have any incentive to hurt us.
I could never confidence to João [translator's note: not me, it's someone else folks] what I feel with regards to my job and what I have been doing with my personal life. He would kill me and certainly would run away from me. I've put in question my relationship with Portugal, that something that unite us in the first place.
One of my anxiety motives is to want to talk to someone and not to have anyone. I'm stuck, trying to externalize what I feel, but wherever I turn to I find only walls. It's no wonder that my mind has been spinning.
That's about it. Talk about an emotive fellow and his trust on the Internet for privacy. :-)

But what's that bit about Colm telling me things? Damn, I and Colm have hardly talked at all.
I mean, can you put some context around that post? Who wrote it? Who is the emotive fellow whose plight the post bewails? And what exactly did Colm tell me?
I don't know anything more than what you do about who wrote it or anything.
But I'm from Brazil. And our Portuguese is very different from Portugal's. The Portuguese of the article is from Portugal. It could well be from Funny Bunny himself.
The Portuguese people are a little sad in general, it's part of their culture. So it's not strange to find such a writing.

You're welcome. :-)
Hey Funny Bunny, sorry for helping to reveal you. :-)
Anyway, cheer up!
Nice blog of yours, by the way. Though I'm not really interested in what you have to say. So I'm not stalking you or anything. Relax. hehehe.

Tapiwa, is that directed at me? :-)
Relax. This is not my playground, I know it. :-)

No, I was just wondering what would motivate such a spirited blog entry.
Some loss of confidence the author has suffered.
September 6th, 2006 8:28am
It's totally freaky that it's a portuguese blog entry with people named Colm and Sathyaish - how often do those three things collide?
On the internet, I'd say intersections like that are pretty fucking common.
Did you say you work in technology?
September 6th, 2006 8:55am
Yep. Now explain how "working in technology" has anything whatsoever to do with understanding the sociology of how common it would be that a portuguese speaker would have indian and irish friends with the same names as people on CoT?
Or were you just trying to look superior again?
Errr... if you're trying to say that the blog author is definitely Funny B, then I think we've all established that.
I thought you were making a broader, philosophical (but still stupid) point.

Wha??? Except on here I never talk to Sathy about anything.
Philo, I know what you mean.
I had to do a double take on the tube a few years ago.
Saw couple sitting opposite me. He was Chinese looking. She was Indian looking. And they were speaking French. In London!!

"Wha??? Except on here I never talk to Sathy about anything."
They have those late night meetings by the sea for that...
Well, I mailed Sathy and Colm. Talked to Colm on MSN and I'm expecting a reply from Sathy.
Everything gets worked out, we just need to take it slow.
