Actually, the GOP is far more about marketing and "staying on message." What you're describing is more like the Democrats - who *do* have dissent and who *do* complain. Which is partly why the GOP is beating the dems in the polls: by portraying the dems as lost and clueless. Why do you think so many wingnuts want to know what the democratic plan is to save them from uppity darkies in the middle east. In the GOP, no dissent is permitted. "In the GOP, no dissent is permitted."
