Man, I hate Pastor Fred.  I couldn't bear to listen for more than a minute...  (I hope he makes such a big deal about all the other things the bible condemns  -- I trust his clothes aren't made from two different cloths, that he doesn't have his hair rounded at the temples, and that if he sits in a chair recently vacated by a menstruating woman he makes a blood sacrifice to purify himself before entering a temple.  (Leviticus: now *there* was a lunatic; he's the main source of the "god hates fags" meme, but that's the only bit of his work that ever gets a mention.))

Yeah, this effer is banned in Michigan.  A few of his followers showed up at a military funeral in my town.  I did get to see the Patriot Riders in action though, which was a sight to behold.  I don't think I've ever seen so many motorcycles or flags in one place.

We also got a nice shiny new law here in Michigan to the effect that these Westboro loosers needs to stay away from funerals.  Although to be honest my state rep (who sponsored the bill) made it more of a blanket law keeping all protesters at distance.

That was surprisingly dull, actually.  I was expecting him to be goggle-eyed and rocking back in ofrth, rhapsodic over his own looniness.  Turns out out he's just a mean, old, sexless asshole.
