HP Chairman out
Pat Dunn is stepping down from the position of Chairman after Congress decides to investigate her possibly illegal investigations of her fellow board members
She'll remain a director, and I'm surprised she's even got that left to her.
This sure doesn't sound like the HP of the 70's & 80's.

Fuckin' finally. Took 'em long enough.
Bullshit. "stepping down" is fucking bullshit. She needs to be fired. She needs to be fired, all her stock taken away, no golden parachute, no director's chair.
Escorted from the building by security.
Assholes.
Seriously - if this was about some code monkey in the cube farm who said on his MySpace site he smoked a joint last weekend, there would've been no discussion, no investigation - security would've showed up and he would've been shown the door.
But the Chairman openly admits to a federal felony during a board meeting and it's "We'd like you to take a break while we decide what to do."
nnnngggghhhhh HULK SMASH!!!!
what actually happened?

One of the other board members/directors leaked some proprietary info to the press. She (Dunn) went ballistic, and brought in a private investigation firm, who then acquired the phone records of her fellow board members (and members of the press) by calling up the phone company and pretending to be them.
The investigators found the board member who talked (Keyworth) and the board punished him (!) by not allowing him to run for reelection.
