Protesters demand the resignation of the Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany in Hungary.
In one of his interviews Mr. Gyurcsany "disputed the claim by some of the protesters that their actions could be compared with Hungary's anti-Soviet revolution of 1956.
"1956 was about our common intention to be free, having more democracy," he said. "(This) is simple violence."

A quick research reveals his wife's grandfather (Antal Apro) also made a comment 50 years ago: "the protest against the government is not revolution but violence by criminals and western powers". 50 years ago he ordered the military to fire at the protesters.
