wifi/wired streaming video adapter?
does this product exist?
a little box that plugs into a monitor or flat panel TV, that has a wifi adapter or an ethernet port (or both.)
You can then stream video from another computer to this box, which displays the video on the screen.
I need to set up six displays in the lobby of a store, which get video streams from a server sitting in back. My google fu is not helping me out.. .I don't know what to search for. I'm using keywords like "wifi video streaming."

Windows Media Center and Media Center Extenders
Oops, in case wSV reads this...
Windows Media Center Edition is a version of Windows that runs on any PC. It acts as a media catalog and can stream music or video out to...
Media Center Extenders. You can either get a standalone box or a plug-in for XBox (which look like they're running $50-100 on ebay). Then you can pull content from the Media Center either over wired or wireless connections.
Might be more than you were willing to spend, but it's an option.
I guess apple's too-be-released thing does this, too.
Can I stream any sort of video feed to the windows media extender? A lot of this stuff is based on some generative CGI software I wrote a while back.
Can I send out multiple streams from one PC to six different TVs at once?
I guess I'll check the specs.

"Oops, in case wSV reads this... "
honestly, your better post was a WAY better one. I actually have an idea of how those two work now, whereas from your first post all I got was a sense of shame that any intelligent man could shill so senselessly.
