I have a customer I have swapped kitty pictures with.  I realized a significant code branch was not communicated to me so I couldn't finish what I started, and instead of getting upset, she told me well, my cat has colitis.

Wow.  Poor kitty.  I couldn't possibly be angry or self-pitying after that.

Now why doesn't Muppet evoke the same response from me.

I was doing my daily bus ride today.  Going home.  Older gray man gets on, sits in the seat in front of me.

I smell oranges.  I notice he is peeling one, and dropping the peelings onto the floor.

So I yelled "THIS BUS IS NOT A FUCKING GARBAGE CAN!!!"

But he didn't understand English.  He is a Russki.  So now everyone is staring at me.  I am now that "crazy lady on the bus."

And you wonder why I hold people in contempt.
