It's the verbal equivilent of keepie-uppie.  One grammatically correct word* per turn, if you finish a sentence you lose.

If you're nice you try to keep the sentence going, if you're not you try to make the person following finish a sentence.

Otherwise:

"knights rarely approach the level of" doesn't appear to be incorrect.  Incomplete certainly - which is rather the point

but it's "knight's" which is either possessive or a contraction.

So it doesn't work.
