To all the muppet haters: $2,250
Two thousand, two hundred, and fifty US dollars.
That's what it'll cost to make me go away.
I just tallied up my entire Amazon Wishlist, and the grand total is $2,250.
If my entire wishlist (excluding unavailable items) is purchased, I will go away never to darken your forum again, mostly as a direct consequence of being far too entertained elsewhere to bother.
So, how much do you REALLY want me to get lost? ;-)
I'll donate $1 to proceedings. I don't really want you to go, but I'm game for whatever's going on...
I certainly thought so, John. :)
Chris was a lot cheaper to get rid of. OTOH, his wish list was insane.

Don't go. Please. Whom will we berate? Whom will we make fun of? Who will provide us with our hourly dose of the inane? We've invested so much into you. Please stay, Yali, please.

I've no reason to kill myself so if you're hoping for that, don't hold your breath.
Is there some sort of penalty clause in the event you get the filthy lucre and don't bugger off?

I'm a man of my word. If I receive everything on my Amazon wishlist I'll go away.
Of course, I should probably impose some sort of deadline so that if I by chance acquire all this stuff myself at some distant date, that won't count.
naaah...Even if someone bothered we'd only have more fratricide as people were accused of being a muppet in trolls clothing...

lol that's as may be
but the moderators could verify that it wasn't me
even if I used an anonymizer I'd be picked out pretty quickly, I think.
I'll give you muppet bashers until February 14th of this year. That's Valentine's Day here in the US (how sweet, huh?)
If everything on my Wish List (which I will not update henceforth) is purchased and shipped to me (or enroute to me) by that time, I'll go never to return again.
Start counting your pennies. :-)
How about WE buy it and ship it?

I guess I forgot to mention I thought we should also get to choose :)
Can the chicken feather delivery truck back up your drive or do we have to hold off until the thaw?

You're making no sense, trollop. The idea isn't $2,250 in cash or $2,250 worth of anything other than what's on my wishlist. That wasn't the premise. You're stretching WAY too far for a joke and doing a poor job of it. :)
