This is probably true. But the concert I went to when I was 17 or so was awesome.
I saw him on one of the "behind the music"-type shows, and he was much better spoken than I expected. So I picked up "Smells like Children", and it's not bad. Shocking, but not bad.

It's around 32-35 that one realizes the extremely high correlation between a thing's 'awesomeness' and its potential to piss off parents.
Maybe, but my parents weren't so concerned with my musical interests.
