If you become Republican, does that mean you will become rich
"Twenty-three percent of all Americans said the country is on the right track, a 15-year low"
Wow. People haven't been this pissed off since.....the last time a Bush ran the place.
Also consider converting to Judaism. There really is a stash of gold in each synagogue that's handed out to faithful congregates each Sabbath (secret alchemical recipe discovered by Einstein and kept hush-hush for the last 60 years).
Correlation is not causation.
Besides, I doubt all those Racist Republicans in the southern red states are rich.
There's two kinds of people who listen to demagogues -- the ones who are financially supporting the demagogues because they're reaping rewards, and the ones who believe what the demagogues are saying because they want to believe.
I'll leave as an exercise for the student which group is larger.
> There's two kinds of people who listen to demagogues
You discovered this by correlating data or just looking for causes?
> I'll leave as an exercise for the student which group is larger.
Will the student be able to figure out what is cause and what is mere correlation?
Ah. I see I'll have to replace "Correlation..." etc with "Which came first, the Chicken or the Egg?".
So, if you're Republican, are you more likely to be rich? If you're rich, are you more likely to be Republican? I think these two questions have different answers.
