RIP Philo

Ok, Fine

So you don't give a shit about tailor made stalker services.

I don't care.

Know why? Because I rock.

Yeah, I R-O-C-K.

I just bit the bullet and ordered a bunch of stuff for the monster machine I've always wanted to build.

Plan to assemble and run it a bit before I buy/install all the water cooling gear and overclock it. IE: drowned/fry it.

You rock because you just blew a shitload of money on some metal and plastic that will be obsolete in 6 months?

AWESOME DUDE!

I'm only jealous that I don't have that much disposable income.

But you do have a house. :)

Components may go obsolete, but this 1KW power supply and sweet ass case should last quite awhile.

I just finally decided to get the bug out of my system. I've always wanted to build something a bit different from the average machine. I figured now is the time... before I get all tied up in morgtage payments and whatnot.

Dude, just check it out! www.mountainmods.com (the opti1203). I'm gonna put the da vinci looking man on the center fan grill and the trucker mudflap chicks to either side facing him, all backlit with dual-cathode blue fans. MWAWAHAHAHA.

I have no idea what I'm looking at on that page.

Do those cases hold multiple computers?

The duality cases will hold two atx mobos.

The opti's are designed to fit a radiator inside them for water cooling. I think several of them will fit radiators. It basically just gives you a bunch of space to work in (18"x18"x18").

Not the best designed site, but it doesn't have to be because there aren't enough people selling that sort of thing.

I'm already thinking of coming up with a customized fan/light/pump control device that would mount in the bays. What's out there just isn't really what is needed/wanted.

If you just wanted a stupidly big box, I could have sold you our old AlphaServer:

Shipping would be a bugger though.

I'd have to cut it all up and put windows in it. I'm going to have glowing blue tubes of water cooling goodness.

Will yours have wheels?

And big deal... water cooling...  The 8" fan is way better.

One of the fans on my mobo is horribly loud. I'll have to remove it & take it to the store to find a replacement.

Fan better? No freakin' way dude.

When I'm pushing that core2 past 3.25 G's and the video card is oc'd 25-30%, it's gonna blow a fan away...

I almost went completely nuts and got a quad core and dual 8800's, but I mean c'mon, with that much power I would just feel guilty only using it for gaming and benchmarks. That would mean I pretty much had to use it for something productive, and who needs that?
