Y'all are a bunch of wankers!

In windblows how do I log memory and CPU usage?

I'd like to run a program and log its memory and CPU usage programatically, that is I don't want to look at pretty graphs. Any ideas on how to do this?

In Windows Task Manager there's an extra column you can add "Peak Memory Usage" that will tell you the largest amount of memory any program took up, which is pretty useful if you want to figure out which program slowed down your computer for a minute for no good reason.

Perfmon

Start / Run... / perfmon

I haven't actually used it for a few years, but it'll log all sorts of stuff.

There's also something called PDH. Gawd does the doc suck on msdn. It's just one small useless page after another. I recall it being much better.
