what's the matter with being flat-ass wrong?

richard lindzen delivers a message so confidently that millions immediately fall into belief.  trouble is, all of his theories are a fantasy, such as the wind causes the gulf stream.  i laughed long and hard at that one.

what is wrong with being wrong?  isn't what is important is that one looks good in the process?

btw, the other guy in this video, is yet more laughable than lindzen - in the future our children will be so rich that poverty will no longer exist?  why is poverty becoming more prevalent?

He's a atmospheric physicist at MIT and most scientists in his field agree with him. Seems like reasonable credentials to make statements about atmospheric physics that should be worth considering.

He meant "our" as in the rich people.
