RIP Philo

Diebold sewing Massachusetts -- sour grapes?

Massachusetts chose a different voting machine than Diebold's.  Clearly, they MUST have made a mistake.

Probably this is 'standard operating procedure' -- if you don't win, sue just in case.

I hope it goes to court. I will enjoy the expert testimony that Massachusetts will bring in.

Oh this could be *so* much fun...

"Of course, if plaintiff is going to argue their machines are better, we expect them to offer up their inner workings and code to prove their point."

Ahhhh.  As usual, Philo cuts straight to The Good Stuff!

How does the perjury statute stack up against the DMCA?

They don't necessarily have to turn over 'the' code.

Reverse engineering of 'the' code for comparison to the code turned over could make an even better scandal.
