When I bought Twilight Princess on the GameCube, it removed most of my motivation to bother with a Wii, but Super Paper Mario is going to be my new Achille's heel.  I'm going to have to get that.

I'm nearly done with Twilight Princess, too.  I'm in the Palace of Twilight.

Tell us if you get one at a normal store (meaning, normal means you didnt get it under some bridge at 3 in the morning for $900).

Oh I won't get one any other way.  I refuse to buy from a scalper^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hentrepreneuer.  When I buy a Wii, it will be off the shelf of a big box store, at a regular old cash register, at retail price.

I can wait until next year if I have to.  No big.

Too bad Gamestop/EB Games have become scalpers themselves, selling the Wii only as part of a $500 bundle.

I think they do that to reduce demand so that they can function.  They get fewer phone calls, shorter lines, etc.  It's a logistics thing.  At least for that $500, you are actually getting $500 worth of merchandise at retail.  Ditto Wal*Mart.
