Give ne back my hat!

google buys double click for 3billion

35 times the 100million in revenue (not earnings) they make.

Mostly done to keep it away from microsoft.

Microsoft is failing in search.

In the year to March 07, Google search share has gone up to 64% from 58%.  yahoo, microsoft, and ask are all down.

Microsoft to buy yahoo to stay in this?

Buying doubleclick and shutting it down would certainly help bolster their "do no evil" message...
