There are some decent LED barcode scanners on ebay around $100.

Do you have a video camera that you can connect to your computer? There are some bar code scanners that work from a camera.

Can you use a CueCat for that? Those things are like $8 ea on Ebay, with a seemingly endless array of sellers.

Yeah, LibraryThing sells the Cue:Cat scanner.

What's really stopping me is the thought of the size of my library.  Easily 1200 books.  If not more.
