Can't win for losing. Yes, that's the kind of problem I aspire to. "Oh, I'm so rich and so good looking that I put women off!"

How does this fit in with the "Chicks dig bad-boys" meme?
Also, is this why Prince William is now solo?
(Good looking, really wealthy, and in line to the throne)

I think becoming a queen trumps most traditional concerns.

They like rich, handsome men for flings, but don't believe they'll ever settle down, so they don't marry them.

Okay. They want cock and they want money. There must be a label for this. What could it be?

No, SoP, I think becoming Queen is just the extreme case of the concerns. Even for a monarch such as Elizabeth whose functions are largely ceremonial the crown does not seem to weigh lightly. Every camera in the country really is watching her every move.

Oh, shoot, I thought SoP was referring to going gay.

Unfortunately women are also wary of men who are unattractive and poor.

So that's why I'm both cheerful and married.
I'm not this fortunate but I have a good friend who founded a company, went public, and cashed out, netted about $30 million. He bought a nice, not too big mansion, a good car and a motorcycle, started a second venture, and set out to look for a wife. This guy was really good looking, tall, and worked out and had rippled muscles. He even went on one of those "American Gladiator" shows and came in second for the whole season. A real man's man. He was also a super nice guy. He had terrible problems finding a wife. He just consistently attracted the wrong sort of women, and the nice girls he was looking for were scared of him. In the end I think he married some girl from overseas.
