Ishmael Ax? Sounds like a death bed conversion. I say there's a connection to Emmanuel Ax and YoYo Ma: The Al Qaeda String Quartet. The US should invade Ebonia and rename Juillard something a little less French sounding.

I saw the Ismael Ax thing on some earlier story but it makes no sense to me other than Moby Dick's narrator is Ishmael, but there's no ax.

That seems to deep and complicated.  They say it was a Korean kid killed by Americans or something.

I am going to throw a dart on this one, but I am thinking that Cho may have hated American culture and loved his Korean heritage.
