CoT: definitely not going to bomb a plane

NASA Scientist was 'loner' says neighbor

NASA Engineer and Mass-murderer Bill Phillip's house had no furniture in it. He was 'friendly' but had no friends.

And then he went mad.

Shoot, how many people do you have to shoot these days to make it a "Mass" murder?

Two! So someone else and yourself, and you go down in the history books.

Rereading this, I meant to say 'oneself' not 'yourself', I was just speaking in general and not to any specific person. The Lott study before used a size of 2 to designate mass-murder, but they also pointed out that they tried different sizes in their analysis and they all gave the same results. The Australian study set a size of 5 for a 'mass-murder' event.

Excellent suggestion. We need another national database for that.

I love all this Big Brother surveillance. It puts food on the table for developers.

Sure but the same wikipedia page where you got the tidbit about the Bureau of Justice Statistics also says "Mass murder (massacre) is the act of murdering a large number of people, typically at the same time, or over a relatively short period of time. Mass murder may be committed by individuals or organizations."

Now, two is a relatively large number, so 2 deaths definitely qualifies.

No, really, my furniture is just still in storage! I've been really busy, you see, and traveling and everything, and I just haven't had time ... and I have friends, they just, umm, they live really far away and we don't connect much ... but, er, no ...
