Are songs about bombing the US funny in Iran?  Does McCain approve?

I doubt the Iranians were amused by McCain's comment. While I do respect McCain for his service in uniform and for his willingness to work with Senate Democrats on occasion, it was a stupid joke on his part. Apparently the good Senator (momentarily?) forgot that the U.S. is trying to win hearts and minds in the Arab and Muslim worlds, and his comment doesn't help in that effort.

That's a charitable interpretation. I think the Senator wanted to play toward the ignorant let's bomb towelheads republican base.

I don't like McCain but I thought his comment was very funny.

Moveon.org I don't find to be funny, just kind of sad. They take themselves to seriously. If they'd light up and chillout, maybe they could actually effect some change, but that'll never happen since those leftists are always going around with the lips pursed like they got some stick up their ass.
