Just came back from Penguicon ( http://www.penguicon.org ).  For those who like to geek out (I'm looking at you Sharky) it's a wonderful experience.  Three days of all the geekdom you can handle, and a good deal more freakiness than most people are ready for.

The two chicks in leather doing their lesbian tease thing on the back of a trojan horse was kind of a highlight of freakiness.  Unfortunately the not especially attractive cross dresser in the purple negligee took all the wood out of that room.  I had the impression he was a pretty decent guy outside of that context, but it was a harsh contrast.

Great place to geek out though.  Everyone there is interested in geeky things, from computers to programmer to anime to science fiction to role playing games.  Also, the Brazilian Barbecue my friend did was freaking awesome, and it will be back next year.

So you didn't ride either of the leather girls?

Um, no.  No riding the leather girls for me.  Seemed like that might be just a little bit too much wood on the horse, given the circumstances.  That and my wife was waiting at home, where all the guns are kept.
