Marie Antoinette also suffered. At the end. When they chopped her head off.
Laura Bush wants you to know that when it comes to Iraq, no onehttp://americablog.blogspot.com/2007/04/laura-bush-wants-you-to-know-that-when.html
Marie Antoinette also suffered. At the end. When they chopped her head off. It's unreal the bubble our leaders live in. It's plain as day that they occupy a whole other reality where "suffering" is defined as the bakery down the street being out of your favorite pastry. Why we don't eject the whole lot of them, I'll never know.
We should elect our poorest as our leaders. The only caveat there is that they have no education, and aren't offered one. Yhe blogger's concern extends to the families of 3300 dead servicemen and 10000 wounded yet not one dead or maimed Iraqi gets mentioned. Woops.
It's pointless attempting to compare suffering and Laura's sort.. of.. nice but a guided tour of a typical childrens' ward in an Iraqi hospital could open her eyes and provoke some understanding of what sort of hell that man and his mates can create. I noticed that about the article too, that the Iraqis weren't mentioned. I think it may be that the author was trying to be "centrist", which lately means politely not mentioning that our "ENEMIES" (evil evil!) might also experience pain.
>Orc Logic is the habit of thinking that whatever you do is right and whatever people you don't like do is wrong, even if they're doing exactly what you're doing.
>She's using her son's death for political ends! Regular elvish trick! How dare anybody use something like a war to advance their own political cause! http://lancemannion.typepad.com/lance_mannion/2005/08/orc_logic.html http://lancemannion.typepad.com/lance_mannion/2007/04/the_orcs_are_at.html >We should elect our poorest as our leaders.
>The only caveat there is that they have no >education, and aren't offered one. Better yet, do away with political leaders altogether. Several countries have for one reason or another, been left in legal limbo regarding the rightful holders of office. They haven't suffered. Yeah Iraq is doing great and so is Darfur.
Good lord, you guys almost have me defending a Bush.
