Not only is the Wii shortage REALLY hurting Nintendo's image
But the continued delay of Super Mario Galaxy is REALLY REALLY inexcusable.
It's understandable that they don't want another travesty like Super Mario Sunshine, but damn Nintendo, what up?

Simple: You don't release what will be an incredibly popular game when people still can't buy your system. That would be stupid and wasteful.
I suspect Galaxy will be released in the fall to boost Christmas sales and hopefully by then they'll actually have systems that people can buy.
I noticed yesterday at Walmart that they finally had a huge stock of Wiimotes. This is the first time I'd ever actually seen Wiimotes available in a store. No Nunchucks though, they were all sold out.

See, people keep saying that, but near me, the stores are full to BURSTING with remotes and nunchucks and classic controllers. Just no Wiis.

Yeah, what's up with that?
When you can buy wii-motes, all the nun-chucks are gone. And when you can buy nun-chucks, all the wii-motes are gone. That's when they're not out of both.
This has happened to my local Target store, twice now since Christmas.

I've yet to see a nunchuck for sale anywhere. I'd like to buy one more so I have two.

i disagree. it's making it look like the wii is the hottest thing ever to hit gaming consoles since the, well... original NES...

It's almost a Yogi Berra-ism.
"Yeah, everybody wants a Wii, they're so popular that nobody can buy them."
