Reconciling assholes for nearly a decade.

Loads in IE but not in FireFox. What gives?

I have a question about this page:

http://www.nytimes.com/pages/health/psychology/index.html

It refuses to load in Firefox 2.0.0.4.  The tab just says, "Loading..." with the little spinning disk, but nothing happens.  It's been like this since at least yesterday, possibly longer.  (Every other page I've tried on www.nytimes.com seems to work fine in Firefox.)

The page in question loads perfectly normally in IE 6.0.

By the way, I'm running Windows 98SE and using Road Runner.

I've noticed this type of behavior before.  In one odd case, when I had just updated a DNS record for one of my domains, the site loaded fine in one browser but not the other.

I don't understand this.  Can someone explain?

"I'm running Windows 98SE"

Takes a brave person to admit that in public.

I quite liked Win 98SE, though W2000 was a great improvement. The one everybody hated was WinME.
