Your original post probably looked enough like spam (to FruitShow's very simple spam protection) to be prevented from posting.

I got the same spam emails.  I think I'll made a small modification that removes the email link from old topics (the topic in question was from 2006).  That should make a difference.  I might also add some spam filtering to the email function.
