Googling phone numbers is for amateurs.

I'm sure the news organizations have access to proprietary databases that let you query even cell phone numbers for names.

I'd like to take the time to mention that the names pasted above don't prove anything.

The calls happened in 2001 and these Google searches were run in 2007.  The number could have changed hands a dozen times  in the interim.

And as we all know holder of the account does not mean person who received the phone call.

Furthermore, it's possible the DC Madam also called these people completely unsolicited.

It'll take real investigative work to prove any illicit behavior at all.  Lets all count on the media to step up.

Sen. David Vitter's confession there kind of bothers me in how he tries to drag 'god' into a discussion of his seeing call girls while married to his wife. Why do those evangelicals always do that? I think they are hoping to distract attention away from their actions by trying to make it about religion. It seems really inappropriate to me.

I'd just like to say I am embarrassed and ashamed of my weakness. I apologize in front of the world, my family, and my God and I ask forgiveness for I am truly repentant. I went through a 2 minute inner nature retraining course and I have come out it a changed man.
