Sorry if this is a repost.  I didnt like Moore during the 911 days, but I think he has grown up a bit.  I might have to really start listening again.

interesting.  thanks for the link.

there was a good bit at the end there.  wolf offers to tape him and play the rest of the interview tomorrow and moore refuses and points out that the deal is that he is put on live....apparently he now refuses anything less.

he is a smart man. I like moore.

_and_ he gives credit where it is due.  I like that as well.

He's a definite rabble rouser. What's the fancy word for that? Muckraker. He's an honest to goodness old fashioned muckraker.

he is.  he has a strong streak of the gutter running right through him.  he is a fighter, and he isn't afraid to fight dirty.

I _like_ fighters.  I like them WAY more than I like hypocritical, lying, smug asshats like all those politicians who are henceforth going to be publicly apologising for sticking their wick into inappropriate pools of warm candle wax.

Wow, he's gotten so much better. He used to come across as much more of a whiner who over simplified the issues. I like him now.

He still needs to tone it down. He's still coming across as smug and whiny. He's got great points - good information, good ideas. But he makes it too easy to dislike him as a person.

Check out David Duke for someone who knows how to really win over hearts and minds. He's so cool and seductive that interviewers are afraid to let him talk. (Mind you, give him ten minutes and you start to see what a loon he is).

The best part was at the end - "which of the Presidential candidate you think will do the best to fix this?" Great exchange.

He really needs to drop the "apologize to me" rhetoric.

he spends too much time attacking wolf because of this apology and not being on the show and the war stuff. if wolf had invited him before, and moore only shows up when he has a movie to hock, that's really splendid.

really, you're given this great opportunity to get some more audience for your cause, and you squander 2/3 of it on personal drama with the show's host, WTF?

wolf's "we have ads for your movie" was pretty good retort.

Writing in the Chicago Tribune this week, Helen Evans, a 20-year veteran of the country's National Health Service and now the director of a London-based group called Nurses for Reform, said that nearly 1 million Britons are currently on waiting lists for medical care — and another 200,000 are waiting to get on waiting lists. Evans also says the NHS cancels about 100,000 operations each year because of shortages of various sorts. Last March, the BBC reported on the results of a Healthcare Commission poll of 128,000 NHS workers: two thirds of them said they "would not be happy" to be patients in their own hospitals. James Christopher, the film critic of the Times of London, thinks he knows why. After marveling at Moore's rosy view of the British health care system in "Sicko," Christopher wrote, "What he hasn't done is lie in a corridor all night at the Royal Free [Hospital] watching his severed toe disintegrate in a plastic cup of melted ice. I have."
