Because then you have to go back to work.  I am not going to be a happy person tomorrow because I had a blast this week.

I am sitting at the airport in Dublin right now at the conclusion of an AWESOME 2 week vacation. I am really dreading getting back to work. Like, huge.

Yea, and if you take off on the next day, you still have to go to work the day after.  And then the day after that.

I loved it when I quit my first real job.  First I just didn't show up.  Then I sent an email saying I was sick.  That was over the course of two-three weeks.  Then after about a month, I said I am leaving and finally got my stuff.

Sure would be nice to do that again.

To be honest, I don't know what hit me at the time.
