Bob Cringley and Slashdot

<rant>
1) Cringley keeps changing the design of his website every few months. The current one is so irritating, it took me 15 minutes to find the link to the archive. He's replaced the text anchor with an image, which incidentally happens to be the header/title of the website we have known for a long time as The Pulpit (http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/).

Sometime in between, he'd started uploading pocasts of his column entries and providing an RSS link to them. I am now going gaga trying to locate the RSS link but there's no sight of any syndication on that website now.

2) What's the \ (http://backslash.slashdot.org/) section of /. for? The FAQ (http://slashdot.org/faq/editorial.shtml#ed1000) lists some old sections, some of which now do not exist. And, some new sections have been added since.
