I don't much care what you spend your money on> I just had a Red Velvet mini-cupcake (*) and it cost $2.
https://secure.groundspring.org/dn/index.php?aid=12833 chill. it was a date. and we were testing out the store's wares for the gal's sister's birthday party.
you can't even buy off a beggar for $1 anymore (ie, they keep begging, probably to get a red velvet cupcake). it was a date. hey Kozlowski was throwing a party.
you want to spend an obscene amount of money to try to get laid, I'm all for it. did you get any? i pay a just short of two at starbucks. 1.87 maybe? and it's no bargain, they aren't that good.
$2 for a MINI-cupcake.
(thought the real cupcake was only $3, they were out.) dennis kozlowski was the ceo of tyco a major conglomerate they do electronics, fire and security, and medical. in fact they recently split into three companies.
he was convicted of misappropriation of company money in 2005 and is serving 8 years. he stole between $150 - $400 million from the owners of the company. around the time of the trial his lifestyle became an issue in the media, thousands of dollars for a shower curtin, a million dollars of company money for his wife's birthday. that sort of eye catching stuff. > (thought the real cupcake was only $3, they were out.)
they didn't anticipate the re-opening rush? or inventory was run down after being closed by the health authorities? Fuck man, cupcake is like the lowest pastry on the totem pole. $3 each? Suckers. It's sugar and flour.
We could do with a remake around Conrad Black who certainly knew how to spend up though I imagine the pricelists inside might come as a bit of a shock.
Let's hit up Magnolia and mack on with some cup-cakes
No doubt that bakery's got all the bomb frostings I love those cupcakes like McAdams loved Gosling Two! No, six! No, twelve! BAKER'S DOZEN! I told you that I'm crazy for these cupcakes, cousin! Coming clean, I don't think I've ever purchased a cupcake in my life. However, all pastry items at cafes in SF are usually at least $2.
My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like, its better than yours...

Yeah, I don't get the whole cupcake fad. (You go by Mangolia on a nice evening and the line goes around the block.) But these were *RED VELVET* cupcakes. I don't know what this is exactly. But it's like a fad squared. I guess Red Velvet cake is some sort of Southern thing. I just looks red to me. Maybe they use crawfish blood or something. The funny thing we asked when they close, and the baker woman was like ... "Um, 9, but if there's no one here I'll close earlier and go home." I may end up picking a dozen of these things for her sister's birthday party ("$3 each and no bulk discount"). http://www.makemycake.com/home.html (all flash with music) |
