Sanding our assholes with 150 grit.

Who are the pessimists and optimists on this forum

It seems like there are no constantly pissed off people on here anymore (outside of people pissed about the state of the US, which seems to be everyone).  Here is my guess

Pesimists:

Bot Berlin
Indian Guy (jinga, jinga something)

Optimists:

Everyone else

Pessimist: Glass half empty.
Optimist: Glass half full.
Engineer: Glass is twice the size it needs to be.

You're definitely not living in the same world as the rest of us.

And being "pissed off" has nothing to do with one's degree of optimism or pessimism.  Apples and oranges.

pissed off was a bad word.  But I think you can be a pessimist internally but pissed off internally.  Pessimism is a negative view of things but if you are negative on something it probably means internally that you have some harbored feelings about an issue.

I think my recent pessimism is because I loved and supported George Bush and George Cheney so much and then they let the people down.  Or maybe the people let George Bush and Cheney down.  I can't tell.

You "loved" them?  Why??

Trust them, agree with them ... at one point I guess I could understand that.  But what on earth would ever make anyone "love" Bush, and even less, Cheney?

"But what on earth would ever make anyone "love" Bush, and even less, Cheney?"

It was just a test to make you not believe everything that everyone posts on here.  For a second you thought I was serious.  Maybe all of "Bot Berlin's" posts are an act.

Everytime I read a post with "you" from another person I kind of laugh a little bit.  Wow, that person "REALLY" understands me.

AMerrickanGirl:

But not to say your analysis of people or me is off, you are very, very close but I am not always "A" or "B".  Like if I am not around people all the time that I am automatically some depressed, skinny, anti-social geek crying in his cube and somehow a dysfunctional member.  No, I can moody sometimes and overly joyful the next and do just fine.

Nah, that would be "Glass is at 50% of its capacity."

*shrug* I'm an optimist.  I try hard to fight the tendency but in the end it's my nature.

thanks purple for answering the question.

and for some reason, everyone in my school when growing up were those goth type kids, everyone was depressed.  From reading books about japan, my environment always seemed like that.  People were smart, but depressed all the time.  I picked up some of that.
