Caught this at the anime convention - happened to stumble in just as it was starting. What a wonderful little film! I recommend it for anyone that's looking for something a little different.

Wow, deja vu, dude.  I used to go to SF conventions (don't call them Sci Fi if you don't want people to look at you with disgust).

It always amuses me how subgroups always insist on calling themselves something other than what the population at large calls them.

SF instead of Sci Fi
SM instead of S & M (ask the kinky people, they'll tell ya)
Trekkers instead of Trekkies

Ha! Philo takes his teenage daughters to anime conventions, then wanders around because
a) the eye candy is absolutely incredible*
b) he paid for admission, so why not...

*rumors of Philo saying "check out those legs" prompting Mrs. Philo to reply "that's a dude" while laughing her ass off are greatly exaggerated

I bet some of those cosplay kids are incredible.
