Which one? http://www.womenrussia.com/rusnames.htm No. Not Olga or Nelli.
Yeah I like that one too.
Would they call me Svetty?
Wow. How exotic do you do you want it to sound? And this list is not complete.
I kinda want a boys' name, too.
Aleksandra. Alex for short. I dunno. Alexandra is a girl's name, boy's will be Alexander. Sasha or Shura short forms for both. Alex too, also it's short for Alexey.
Valeria - not exotic enough?
Astrid - scandinavian, but I like it Darya Xenia - I like this one. I can see you like Xenia...:) I'm partial toward Darya.
A little secret: my ex-boyfriend in college would call me Valeria during role play ;p His name was Adonis. Do I really want to click the submit button before I delete those two sentences... I can see you as a Darya (or Daria?), Svetlana, or Valeria...
I'm trying to get my SO to call me these names as a trial so I can pick one.
So far she just giggles and shakes her head. She did say she would try to call me by my new name. I'll let you know how it goes. Darya. Alexandra. Svetlana.
Unfortunately, when I think of Svetlana, I think stripper with fake boobs and blonde hair. I love the name though. I always liked the name Davi (pronounced Dah-vee, emphasis on first syllable as in "ahhh"). But this whore of a dyke I know has it. I can hear my mother's voice, guilting me for changing my name.
I haven't talked to her in over a year now. I used to bang chick called Olga - I think she was from Belarus. She was an animal in bed. I did things that I didn't know it was possible. She was 20 years my junior but boy she taught me a few good tricks.
Good times. I like those extremely flowery feminine names that shorten into a boy's name.
Why not just adopt a nickname?
You have a cool name for a techie, on paper, Sharkfish. The problem is that your first name, I can't think of any cool short nicks for it.
> Would they call me Svetty?
Worse than that. When you come back from exercise they'd call you Sweaty Svetty. Which reminds me of http://www.lyricsondemand.com/l/ladsmacclyrics/sweatybettylyrics.html Tamara, Svetlana, and Ekatrina sound exotic and look cool and hard to pronounce in Cyrillic.
You could spell your name using Cyrillic - that would confuse the hell out of people.
>Would they call me Svetty?
In general, there is a familiar form of the name. The familiar form of Svetlana would be Sveta. So now that she's been working out so much and getting muscular, would that make her a Tight Sveta?
Hmm. Good question. Sharky, please be posting those pictures!
Nadya makes me think small and delicate. Pretty name, but probably doesn't fit me.
