cell phone philosophy question
Discussion at work today:
When someone just calls and doesn't leave a message, but they know you have caller id and yes you can see the number--do you return their call?
Not unless it's a good friend.

What about your husband/wife?
The boss says his wife yelled at him for not returning her call.
He's said "but you didn't leave a message."
WTF.
Simple really. Reread what AF wrote. :)

Depends on the person.
If she is a really close friend, then I would call her. (In fact that exact example happened today :))
If I don't really care for the person, then I don't bother. She will call later :P

My wife, always.
Other than that, only if it's someone I like and they call a few times. There have been a bunch of times I've seen a few calls from a coworker I'm not in a hurry to talk to. If they can't email me or leave a voice mail, I can't really bother calling them back.

I'm starting to believe that having children means you aren't having sex much.
I mean, if my wife was giving me regular blow jobs, there is no way I would be all like "honey you didn't leave a message specifically asking me to call you back."
I would be "johnny on the spot". One ring. I'm calling.
LOL.
Who are you responding to?

It goes without saying that anyone who gives you regular blow jobs gets a call back.

I dunno. Just a comment I guess. Heh.

Ahh, so the boss isn't getting laid right.
I always call back.

AG hit it on the spot right there. Hell, I'd call up on occasion with no prompting, just in case.
I never call back - If they don't leave a message it ain't important.
I dialed a wrong number by mistake and hung up before they answered. Then a couple minutes later a slick salesman type calls me back (using his caller ID)
Me: Hello
Him: Hello, who is this?
Me: Huh? You're calling me? Who are you?
Him: I'm Joe at Joe's Used Cars, I thought you wanted to get a hold of me. You called me - didn't' you?
Me: I dialed a wrong number you jerk. If I wanted you to call back I would have left a message. bye.
Cheers

I don't tend to leave messages unless the sky is falling or I'm trying to score head points with the girlfriend.
I'll call people back if that happens, as I generally hope someone will just see theirs and call me back. I'm not miffed if they don't though.
