Crazy On Tap - Here's a dumb question

Can one embed an image into an HTML file or is a file reference the only way?

you can embed it, Im pretty sure Ive done it.

I think support for it was spotty at the time...either IE or Firefox crapped out....but this was a few years ago so it is very likely supported across the board now.
