see, some rich people aren't bad.
Yeah he's "donating" it instead to a charitable organization run by his family, where I'm sure the money will be used with the purest altruism.

I thought it was pretty funny.
She isn't as dumb as she looks though. I think she's getting good product placement money. She drops a shitload of brand names in those interviews she does. I'll bet her own earnings aren't too shabby, even if they don't quite compare to what her Grandfather has kicking around.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation?

The Hilton debacle makes all rich trust fund babies look bad.
Bad PR for not taxing inheritance money properly.
Granddad is just looking out for rich people.
good PR for not taxing the rich too much ... this way we get wealth redistribution plus entertainment.
taxing by itself is just boring.
"good PR for not taxing the rich too much "
non sequitur. How does giving Paris Hilton more money via inheritance make everyone feel good?
"Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation?"
Are you challenging the altruistic nature, here?
If so, you should probably educate yourself a bit to avoid looking like a douche in the future.

Giving Paris more money provided us with greater entertainment value, in that it gives her more rope. But I can't see the real value in it either. Given to charity seems like a much better solution. I'd say give it to the Catholic Church, but right now their U.S. funds are getting eaten up in lawsuit settlements. We're gonna be a long time getting over the legacy of the church's tolerance of sexual abuse.
"How does giving Paris Hilton more money via inheritance make everyone feel good?"
Um, you really can't buy this kind of entertainment?

Seems reasonable. I had wondered what the Hilton family really thought about how her antics affect their brand name.

Hey, did you notice the caption to the photo? "Easy come" under Paris smiling.

Let me understand this. Here is a girl that doesnt have a talent. Doesn't look that attractive. Doesn't have big boobs or anything. Isn't that smart. And her current thing is getting into the trouble with the law and now Pappy won't give her money because she is a slut, and somehow she keeps getting press and will probably continue to get money?
That has got to be the best career path ever.
> Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation?
How about the Steve and Melinda Gates Foundation?
