my partner says it would be wrong to put the two of them outside for the night.

yeah, clean nappies. feel warm under their tops..all dry....
popping in vrey couple of minutes to resettle them.
one is upset and not settling, the other is confused and wondering why shes awake.
so cute, she kind of sits up and looks around with utterly blank eyes. I tell her to lie down and she just flops.
the unsettled one though is appearing more and more to be the spawn of satan himself.
I wonder if whiskery ould help.
apparently Im not allowed to give them whiskey either.
when did all these rules appear?

Gin? my god what kind of animals are you english? its bad enough that adults drink it. who would be so cruel as to give it to their kids?
whiskeys the stuff. worked for my father, *and* his father before him.
the best bit is it doesn't matter whether you apply it to the child or the father, the desired result is usually achieved.
.5 - 3 years - Nutmeg in milk.
4 - 10 years - Sambuca in Hot Chocolate.
11 - 18 - Sambuca on the rocks. Consumed by you
18+ - Nutmeg in milk. Given by your children to you.
nutmeg in milk? have't heard of that one. what properties does nutmeg have?
ahhhh...the deep silence of two sleeping babies.
<g> first Im going to pop in and poke them to ensure they are still alive, then Im going to bed.
I've heard of vodka in milk - must be cultural.
And gin is quite decent when it's ice cold and in some tonic.
