Since probably half of all cats are "needlessly destroyed" (note -- statistic completely made up here) doing so to a kitten who 'walks funny' doesn't seem like such a tragedy.

Bon Vivant, your reactions must suck.  I can usually give my cats a decent go.  All except for my old black cat, when she was younger.  Can't avoid claws that you never saw moving, and she was about as fast a cat as I've ever seen.

The local cat shelter in the foo-foo community in my city was appalled when I was playing with the cats/interviewing, the little boxing game you guys speak of.

They said it teaches them to be too aggressive.

I walked out and didn't get a cat from them.

Those shelter people obviously are familiar with a different species than I am.  My cats are rarely aggressive towards me, but they beat the snot out of each other regularly.  They'll play with me a little, to humor me, but they'd rather be beating each other.

Yeah, my cats fight a lot too.  It can be very entertaining.

Unless it is at 2AM.
