Man I am sick and tired of people citing Jorn Barger's weblog as a source of biographical dirt on Chris McKinstry.  Jorn Barger is not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer either.

I would probably be driven mad if some jerk put together a blow-by-blow bio of everything bad I ever did in my life and posted in on the Internet too.  We all have skeletons in the closet. 

I'm not sure I believe the story about the armed standoff 100% either.  If he really did that, why didn't he end up with a felony conviction?  Why was allowed to obtain a passport and travel to Chile? 

A lot of people who don't understand mental illness are quick to label him as "insane" and "crazy" and "psycho" without knowing all the facts.  It's just the same as using racial and religious slurs.

Chris has admitted to pistol whipping his wife, attempting suicide, and having been temporarily institutionalized for it. Many of the links on Jorn's website are to posts Chris made himself.

The question is - what kind of personality compells someone else to compile that kind of list about you?
