Worst job in the world?
The chief execs of GM and Ford are fighting for the title of worst job in the world.
I can see how share options, multi-million dollar lifestyles, power and political influence must be a drag. Then if it all goes wrong all you have to fall back on is a million dollar publishing deal or a lecture tour of US business schools.
Compare that, for example, to the rewards of being a fifteen year old illegal immigrant forced to stand half-naked on a street corner in February to earn the drugs she's been forced onto to keep her from running away.
I know which job I'd rather be doing.
UhHuh?

Granted getting paid millions to be the CEO of a major auto company even in worst of times doesn't suck, but which made for tv movie did your fifteen year old illegal immigrant walk out of?
Because you are reading these words I can assume you are doing better than the 3 billion people who live on less than $2 a day. In comparision, your life is beautiful. Let me know if you are able to use that fact to steady yourself from bouts of arrogance, self pity, and self righteousness.
If in fact you are not then consider, similiarly, the CEO of Ford is human too.

I can see you have thought deeply about this matter.

LOL
Yeah Jesus, since you have heat and hot water and coffee with your breakfast, it's not incumbent upon you to take someone ALSO extremely well off to task when he/she says something stupid. :-)
What was stupid? moron.

"Take two placebos, then you can call me lame
Walk some in my shoes, then tell me to fuck off
My oversized hat, won't fit your humongous head
I'll trade a hundred days for one inside of you."

GM's "turnaround" plan isn't for-real unless they start talking salary cuts at the highest level of management.

Actually, GM's "turnaround" plan isn't for real unless they start selling desirable products on the home market.
I dunno I saw a neat little Chevy the other day that looked like it was trying hard to be a Scion. 4HR or some shit like that? It might appeal to younger folks. Totally impractical, of course, a wagon/van thing with nearly no cargo capacity.
What, the HHR? That's not desirable. It's vaguely practical, but it doesn't make you desperately want one like a Dodge Magnum R/T does.
They need to scrap the current Impala and bring over the Holden Commodore instead, then start selling the Astra OPC to rich white teenagers.
My dad has a Dodge Magnum. I very nearly bought one instead of the Hyundai, which would have been foolish. :)
