I find it interesting that the things I write at 1:30am, in a short sidetrack from hitting the sleep button to hibernate the PC for the night, always end up getting the most attention. So far that article has seen about 7,000 visitors today from various vector points, and when that happens it tends to trickle for weeks as various people post it to their blogs, in their social bookmarks, etc.

Another quickly-hashed out one - one on spelling of all things - made an appearance on reddit and a couple of other sites two weeks ago. Again it was a late night, no-particular-reason-why type of verbal release.

Yeah, that's my experience too. Well, except for me it's 8am and just about to go to bed, but the same concept applies.
