I know, but it's not something I can improve overnight.

There is nothing wrong with the quote as long as you are sure you are the exception of the rule.

But sometimes it is easy to forget that you are excluding yourselves with no reason.

I suspected that was your point, but a) I couldn't be sure seeing as you provded little in the way of explanation and no context, and b) knowing the sterotypical traits of some demographic you belong to and realising you don't posess those traits (or have found a way to alleviate them) isn't so remarkable as to be of note anyway -- it's called self-awareness.

Yeah, it's hardly news. Like engineers having trouble getting a date.
