Sanding our assholes with 150 grit. Slowly. Lovingly.

Oh yea, I thought about GoogleOS a long time ago.

I request google to do network filestorage. In fact, I even contacted google about it and they responded. They basically said that isn't there model of business.

Well, I figure with the GoogleOS buzz, that is exactly what I am talking about. Secure filestorage through google, possible thin client through a browse for the filemanager, possibly with Ajax.

I noticed that they just released Google Desktop2.

So, they are thinking about the concept of the 'operating system'. With Java and things like Google desktop, I find it amazing how many companies are scared of creating a full-install operating system.

I wrote an operating system, it took me 2 weeks(with source help), of course it didnt do very much.

We don't need another operating system! It's done. We could perhaps use some more useful applications but no more operating systems...

Desktop 2 is a search & widgets program, not an OS.

Google IM is a Jabber client & server combo.
