Is that true that Henry Ford when started his business said something along those lines when he mass-produced lots of cars with the same color?
If it's true, it seems quite similar to the way that you can choose any persistence mechanism in some programming languages as long as it's some ORM variation. LOL.

No, it's not true. In fact for many years you could have them in a selection of colours *apart from* black.
Well, he did say it at some point, might've just been to illustrate a point though.
Apparently Model T's were initially mass produced in multiple colors, but later just in black because the paint dried quicker.
