Hi all.
I hope this doesn't come across as spam. RealSoftware has noticed that Microsoft is dropping support for VB6 -- so they have a new converter for VB6 to REALBasic, and they're giving away their 'Standard' 5.5.5 version (a $99 value) for the next two days.
I don't work for them, I just started using their compiler in February. It's kind of nice. It's main claim to fame is portability -- the Pro version will cross compile for Macintosh or Linux with Gtk.
It's a bit more regularly 'object oriented' -- no User Defined Types, but their Classes are more Java like than the VB classes. Try it out.
